• Bachelor Degree Programs:

  • Aviation Management:

    • Aerospace Management - If you are interested in the management of aviation businesses, from airports to airlines, requires a minor in the Business School

  • Aviation Technology:

    • Professional Flight Officer - If you wish to pursue an airline flight career (A student completing this concentration must have an FAA Commercial Pilot certificate with Instrument and Multi-engine ratings and the FAA Flight Instructor (CFI) and Instrument Instructor (CFI-I) certificates OR a Type Rating before graduation)

    • Corporate and General Aviation - If you are interested in flight careers related to general business, but not necessarily with an airline (A student choosing this concentration must have an FAA Commercial Pilot certificate with an Instrument rating and either the FAA Flight Instructor certificate (CFI) or the FAA Advanced Ground Instructor certificate before graduation)

• Satisfy your degree requirements with the Flight Experience obtained at Daedalus Aviation

• Those with FAA certificates and ratings may substitute, with the approval of the AVS Department, more advanced AVS courses for the basic required courses pertaining to the certificates or ratings held

• Bachelor Degree Programs

  • Professional Pilot - Builds upon the AS and AAS degrees and prepares the student to enter the work force as a professional pilot at an intermediate or advanced level – 120 credit hours

  • Aviation Administration - Prepares students for aviation industry positions to include airline, corporate aviation, FBO, and airport management – 120 credit hours

• Associate Degree Progams

  • AAS – Aviation Science - Combination of aviation course and co-op work experience to provide the student with first hand experience in the field – 65 credit hours

  • AS – Aviation Science - Prepares the student with all ratings necessary to be qualified for entry-level jobs in the aviation field – 61 credit hours

• Experiential Credits – may be awarded for previous experience in ground or flight courses for individuals holding FAA Certificates obtained at Daedalus Aviation (FAA Certificates must be held prior to enrollment at UVU).

• Bachelor Degree Program

  • Aviation Leadership and Management - provides for advancement in aviation management and flight operations -128 credit hours

  • Organizational Leadership - provides background in organizational dynamics along with problem solving & decision making-128 credit hours

• Associate Degree Program

  • Aviation Technology - provides a general academic foundation for aviation professionals-67 credit hours

• Earn up to 50 credits for Flight Experience obtained at Daedalus Aviation

• Receive a 20 percent discount on tuition and fees when you train at Daedalus Aviation
